Chapter Fourteen. Guidance

The problem of ensuring that a team works well together is a tough one. There are both strategic and tactical issues to deal with: deciding on a specific approach to take and coordinating the team effort from day to day. This information is important and labor intensive, but it still fails to provide a reasonable level of higher-level guidance to the team.

In this chapter, we look at some practical guidance in how to effectively keep a team running smoothly. We consider some of the attributes of reasonable process deployment and team behaviors essential for success.
