In this section you’ll learn about the Software Pipelines Optimization Cycle (SPOC), a special overlay methodology for guiding your implementation of pipelines technology. SPOC is called an overlay methodology because it is best used in conjunction with the development methodologies that you’re already using. It doesn’t replace your standard methodologies; instead, it is tailored to accommodate the special considerations and requirements of a Software Pipelines implementation.
