Chapter FourteenHello Software Pipelines
The key component in a pipeline service is the service itself. Therefore, for our first example we’ll walk through the steps for creating a pipelines service using our reference Pipelines Framework. We’ll use the HelloPipelinesService, a variation on the traditional “Hello World” theme.
Figure 14.1 shows the service flow for HelloPipelinesService. It has a fairly trivial flow, but it will help explain how the pipelines service operates and what it does.
