Chapter 13. The Three Bridges

For decades, knowledge transfers have been limited to a three-month time period, as if that particular timeframe was seared into the collective conscience of IT managers. If the preceding chapters have proven that three months is too short a time to take ownership, the next natural question is, what is the right duration?
