Chapter 11. Process

A process is a way to get things done. If we do something the same way again and again, we call it a process. Many of us know what these processes are with respect to software development. We even have certifications that assess and validate organizations on the maturity of their software processes. However, this chapter does not look at processes from the perspective of certifications. Agile puts people and interactions above processes. When a new team takes over, then, processes inevitably will change. After all, following a process cannot by itself be a successful outcome. Creating the right product is the true measure of success.
