Chapter Fifteen: Endgame Retrospectives and Conclusions

The entire book thus far has been focused on operating within the endgame. We have not focused on thinking retrospectively or learning from the experience. However, it is truly important to take a step back and examine what happens, especially since the endgame is such a rich example of your development practices and team dynamics.

Regardless of your organization’s level of success or failure, you need to explore and learn from it. No matter the level or nature of each of my endgames, something always surprises me during review, and I never fail to learn something new and valuable.
