Summary
In this chapter, we presented a high-level overview of OpenContrail. The two key components of OpenContrail, namely, the vRouter and controller, and the overall architecture were also covered. We then walked you through a hands-on installation procedure for OpenContrail. Finally, we discussed the high-level interaction between OpenStack and OpenContrail. In the following chapter, we will cover the OpenStack integration in more detail, including hands-on steps. We will also discuss advanced services such as routing and security in the context of OpenContrail.
