About the Authors
Samir Roy is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Kolkata, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He graduated with honours in Physics from the Presidency College, Kolkata, in 1985, and subsequently obtained the bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in computer science and engineering. After serving as a Scientific Officer for a brief period at IIT Kharagpur, he took up teaching as his primary occupation.
