Chapter 8

Risk Management

While previous chapters described a number of common risks faced by organizations, this chapter outlines how risk management can minimize those risks so that they pose less of a threat. Because some of the biggest threats identified by organizations are exploits, malicious software, and viruses, we’ll see how tools can be used to block, detect, and remove these threats. We’ll also discuss many of the laws and regulations that could affect your social media use, see how corporations and police use forensics, and the impact social media has in those areas.
