Conventions Used in This Book

In this book, I stick to the following conventions to help with readability:

check.png Whenever you have to enter text, it is shown in bold so that it’s easy to see.

check.png Monofont text denotes an e-mail address, website URL, or social media handle.

check.png Twitter handles are always preceded with a @ sign, like @dummies, Google+ by a + sign, like +leslie poston, and so on.

check.png Social media pages and features — such as Settings or Replies — are called out with capital letters.

check.png Numbered lists guide you through tasks that must be completed in order from top to bottom.

check.png You can read bulleted lists in any order you like (from top to bottom, bottom to top, or in any way you’d like).
