10. Come Bearing Gifts

In a lot of cultures, it’s customary when coming to a party or event to bring a gift for the host or hostess. In fact, when you show up empty-handed, other guests might look down on you for not honoring this custom. You might even get a cold shoulder from a few other attendees because they perceive your actions as rude.
