Abstract:

This chapter will address how academic researchers can take advantage of the social media tools for managing bibliographic references online and collaborating with other researchers. Tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, CiteULike, and Connotea take advantage of the best of the new social media by allowing users to seamlessly collaborate with one another and share what they know via online communities.
