Finally, we are going to see this system actually take bids. If you have stuck with the case study this far, I hope you have taken some time along the way to play with and enhance the prototype. Maybe you even went off and experimented with some projects of your own. Regardless of how you got this far, I hope you have become excited about what SOAP can do for making applications talk to each other regardless of where they are located.

This chapter exists primarily to finish up the auction system. It shows that you can build a fairly complex system using SOAP as the cross-process communication mechanism. By the time this chapter is over, we will have completed the following pieces:
