The sourcing revolution?

So revolutions in one sphere trigger change cycles in others. Opinions vary over the precise starting point of the Information Revolution, whose ripples are still spreading – and whose implications are now playing themselves out across the world every day, from Baltimore to Bangalore. Cycles of change are always easier to identify and isolate with hindsight, and the overlapping nature of the current rapid evolution in technology and communications means we have a feeling of several cycles happening at once.
