Reasonable retention – not too much

This vicious circle can be seen in action in many outsourcing relationships – you can probably think of some instances from your own experience. Our recommendation is that the client should retain a reasonable level of leave-behind organization, and ensure that rather than acting as a barrier it plays a role as the facilitator and creator of a flow of information and personnel between the user organization, the leave-behind entity and the supplier.
