Power of Attorney

Powers of Attorney are fairly commonplace. Chances are you’ve signed one for a limited purpose, maybe for a real estate sale. Maybe you read about it with regard to New York City socialite Brooke Astor and her son’s alleged abuse of her Power of Attorney. A Power of Attorney is an extremely useful document. It can be beneficial when you’re feeling fine (for example, your Agent can make stock trades for you or pay your bills when you’re on an around the world first class cruise!) or when you’re sick or injured and unable to write checks, file your taxes, or otherwise conduct your financial affairs.
