Before anxiety takes over, try these presenter tips to quell nervousness.

  • Visit your videoconference room in advance of your meeting so you become familiar with the room. Comfort with your environment will make you less tense.
  • If you are making a presentation during your videoconference, know your material. Rather than memorize your remarks, practice them using key words. You will sound less nervous. Write your key words on a sheet of paper or index cards and place them where you can easily see them.
