To identify the unfounded fears in your life, complete this simple exercise. First, make a list of three things you are afraid to do. These are not things you are afraid of, such as spiders; instead, they are the things you are afraid to do, such as sky diving, making cold calls, or asking the cute server for her phone number.

Next, restate each fear in the following format:
