Multiple Objections in Succession

If you’re getting yet another objection—must talk to someone (you should be meeting with the decision maker since that was part of your qualifying process, right?), major announcement coming, and so on—it should be a red flag that this isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Cut your losses, get agreement for future follow-up, and move on.

Sales Pro: Well, what I will do then is to keep your information close by and give you a call in, say, two or three months. Will that work for you?

Prospect: Yes, that would be fine.

Sales Pro: Thank you so much, Ms. Decision Maker. I really appreciate your time today. I’ll speak with you again soon. Have a great day.
