Susan Beacham, the CEO of Money Savvy Generation, a financial education company, and a passionate advocate for financial literacy, started teaching her daughters about money as soon as they began asking for things. As parents know, that starts at toddlerhood and never really ends. “You go into Target and see the dollar aisle and see things you didn’t know you wanted, and then the child is disengaged [with the new toy] by the time you get home,” she says.
