Chapter Seven: Adaptive Control

The final core concept is adaptive control of decision services. Adaptive control is how the management aspect of enterprise decision management is applied to decision services. Over time, decision services must be improved and revised to make sure they continue to make the best possible decisions. Eventually, they can and should be optimized to maximize their value to the organization. This chapter covers the concepts, technology, and process for adaptive control. As before, the concepts and technology are presented first and the process second. If you prefer to get a sense of the steps first, you can skip ahead to that part of the chapter and refer back to concepts and technology as necessary.
