Why Should I Use the Gallery Essentials Collection?
The Gallery Essentials collection is one of the most fabulous resources that SMART Technologies bundled in the SMART Notebook software. It contains over 6,000 learning and presentation objects, which you can insert into your SMART Notebook files. This resource enables you to quickly develop lessons or presentations with rich graphics and media. You have pictures, interactive multimedia files, icons, images, backgrounds, and themes — all free for you to use any way you want.
You can find what you need using the drop-down menus on folders and subfolders. The files are organized into clear themes and logical groupings. You also can use the search box to find what you’re looking for. Before you start searching for free resources online or creating charts or images from scratch, explore the Gallery Essentials collection.
One very useful Gallery Essentials resource is a collection of pull tabs you can add to your presentations. To find the pull tabs, follow these steps:
1. Open SMART Notebook.
2. Tap the Gallery icon in the Page Sorter (the menu on the left).
3. In the upper pane, choose Lesson Activity Toolkit⇒Graphics⇒Pull Tabs.
