SMART GoWire Auto-Launch Cable
If you’re using SMART Meeting Pro software and you’re a regular meeting presenter or participant, the SMART GoWire (shown in Figure 18-6) is a must. It enables you to connect any laptop to your interactive whiteboard and work with your desktop and files. You can access every functionality of SMART Meeting Pro, even digital ink, and have full capabilities to manipulate and save objects.
With SMART GoWire, you also can give your clients and guests access to your SMART Board interactive whiteboard without installing all the software. All they have to do is plug in, wait a couple seconds, and they’re good to go. When they unplug the SMART GoWire, the applications no longer exist. I know what you’re thinking: “How can this be?” The way it’s done is quite slick — the SMART Meeting Pro software is embedded in a USB drive inside the SMART GoWire cable and automatically launches when connected to any laptop. Cool!
