The last thing you want is to prepare a lesson or walk into a large presentation and have the technology let you down. It’s happened to all of us at one time or another. You’ll save yourself time and embarrassment if you go to the room where you’ll be presenting 15 minutes early; turn on the interactive whiteboard; and make sure all the cables are connected, the sound system works, the light bulb hasn’t burned out, you can access the Internet if you need to, and the board is oriented correctly.

remember.eps Make sure that the files you’ll be using are backed up. If they’re on a network, back up on a thumb drive. If they’re on your computer, back up on a network or a thumb drive.
