Can I Hide the Image on My Interactive Whiteboard but not on My Computer?

The simplest way to hide the image on your interactive whiteboard but still display it on your computer is to turn off — or “picture mute” — your projector. Most projectors have a button on the remote control to “mute” the image or an option in the display menu to turn off the image.

If you’re using SMART Notebook software, instead of turning off or “muting” the projector, you can use the Screen Shade tool, which enables you to conceal all or part of the image (see Chapter 11). This solution may not be ideal if you’re relying on your computer for notes, however, because it also conceals the image on your computer.
