Write Stories as a Group

Involve your students in writing a story. Each student can take on a character and contribute one or two sentences. Start with a topic or theme, and ask every student to take a turn at the interactive whiteboard and add to the story. If your interactive whiteboard enables more than one person (up to four people with the 800 series) to work on the interactive whiteboard at the same time, you can assign one person to write, while other people illustrate, link to information, enter data, or organize other objects. By using a variety of objects and graphical and multimedia files, the story can come to life. You can move text around, ask writers to use different colors and pen styles, have them serve as editors, and in the end, have a document everyone can be proud of.

remember.eps You can capture everything the students write and save it to your .notebook file.
