The ability to add multimedia to your presentations or lessons is one of the great features of SMART Notebook software. You can easily add sound to objects and videos or create your own. For example, you can use the video recorder to record a video of your lesson, and then post that video in your learning management system (LMS) or on TeacherTube (www.teachertube.com ) or YouTube (www.youtube.com ), allowing students who have missed a class to watch the lesson. You can even create a podcast from your presentations. (For more on creating podcasts, check out Podcasting For Dummies, 2nd Edition, by Tee Morris, Chuck Tomasi, and Evo Terra [Wiley].)

In this chapter, I show you how to use sound and video in your presentations. I also provide you with links to free resources enabling you to download files you can add to your objects and hints on how you can use media in your presentations.
