Name and Description
Nominal group technique, developed by Delbecq and Van de Ven, combines periods of individuals working individually with periods of group discussion. The name reflects the limited or nominal interaction required. The technique consists of six steps and involves a process of private voting and ranking of ideas and solutions. The technique may be easily modified in ways that increase the confidentiality of responses.
