Creative solutions are needed in our current climate—problems are increasingly complex yet resources are limited. Two common phrases today are “Do more with less” and “Think outside the box.” To do either requires creativity. Since considerable problem solving occurs in group settings, this chapter explores the process of creative problem solving, ways in which creativity can be encouraged, and strategies to use to stimulate creativity.
