Foreword

Technology development moves quickly the modern era. An engineer must “ball park” a design, rapidly create proof of concept, and analyze measured data to drive the technology’s course. The purpose of this book is to enable those interested in developing small radar technology to move quickly from idea to proof of concept.

We can do it. Anyone with a background in electronics who is an undergraduate, professional, entrepreneur, researcher, or hobbyist can develop small radar sensors. Radar engineering need not be intimidating or full of theoretical derivations.

Learn by doing. The sooner a design is put to practice, the faster the designer will learn. Numerous examples are shown with sufficient detail to replicate or scale to your application. ...
