Appendix E. SpamAssassin Configuration File

This appendix covers the various pieces of the SpamAssassin configuration file, breaking it down by function for clarity’s sake. Portions of this appendix are taken from the SpamAssassin web site, http://spamassassin.apache.org/doc/Mail_SpamAssassin_Conf.html.

There are a large number of configuration parameters. For the purpose of discussion here, we have broken them down into the following top-level categories:

  • Whitelist/Blacklist
