Reading an Email Header

Unfortunately, reading an email header takes much practice and knowledge. In this section, we present an overview of reading email headers, starting with how to view the headers.

The steps are as follows:

1.	View the headers from the message.
2.	Analyze the headers.
3.	Act on the information found.

Viewing Headers

All major email clients today by default do not show the “full headers” required in order to track down a spammer’s origin. This can be accomplished as follows.
