Add your Skype online status to any web page by using this hack.
Works with: Windows version of Skype.
With this neat little add-on, you can make your Skype online status available in real time from any web page.
First, you must download and install the add-on by visiting its support page at http://www.skyperunners.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=30.
What you're downloading is a Windows install package that takes care of all the installation details; just follow the instructions. Once it's installed, you're ready to start building web pages that show your Skype online status.
The add-on requires that you have Microsoft .NET 1.1 installed on your machine. To find out if you have .NET installed and, if so, what version, navigate to Start → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs, and scroll down the list of currently installed programs, looking for an entry for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. If you don't have it, download and install it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/.
