In developing your skills as a hunter and gatherer, you have made scribble sketches, taken photo snapshots, and collected image clippings and scans. This is a great beginning and you will find these practices well worth continuing. However, all of these are images. Our world is 3D, and is full of inspirational physical objects with shape, form and texture. Yes, we recommend you collect physical objects as well. As a hunter-gatherer, you can also collect physical objects to work out new ideas, to re-work previous ones. Make collecting the norm, as it is a cornerstone of an active design practice.
