Use the Technology!

The photo gods have seen fit to send us many pixels, and auto focus, auto advance, auto exposure cameras that talk to remote flashes at the speed of light. So why do you still have the camera set to “M”?

Nothing wrong with manual. I use it, as the occasion demands, quite a bit. But, I do revel in the fact that these bloody machines solve an awful lot of problems for us, and make shooting certain types of pictures that used to be problematic about as difficult as falling off a log, which I actually do quite well.
