Tests for Evidence of Special Causes on Minitab control charts
The default set of tests provided in Minitab is illustrated for the case of an individuals or X chart of a variable with mean 60 and standard deviation 2. Note that, in each case, a pattern of points that is the mirror image in the centre line of that displayed would provide a second example of a signal from the corresponding test.
