If you’re the kind of person that likes to get things in order first so you can more easily concentrate on drawing, then you’ll want to give grids a second look. Once set up, a grid helps you stay in perspective as you draw. You can use them informally (think sketching) or set up a detailed, mathematically accurate grid that can help you measure anywhere on the page.
