Converting a Silverlight application to use WCF RIA Services

At a certain time in a project's lifecycle, you might come across a requirement that's very easy to solve with WCF RIA Services, or you might decide to change the project to start using WCF RIA Services. However, you typically don't want to start from a new solution if you already have some code in place.

This recipe will show you how to enable an existing Silverlight solution to start using WCF RIA Services.

Getting ready

Make sure you have installed the WCF RIA Services SDK. This is included in the Silverlight 4 SDK, which you can download at http://www.silverlight.net/.
