Scott Fitzgerald famously wrote, “The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.” Unfortunately, most managers can’t pass this test. The Great Disruption will require many managers to go to “innovation school” to develop the skills to master paradox.
