9.6 EIGEN VALUE
The roots of the characteristic equation |λiI−A| = 0 are called the Eigen values of the matrix A(n × n).
The n × 1 vector pi that satisfies the matrix equation |λi I−A| pi = 0 is called eigen vector of A(n × n) associated with the eigen value of λi where λi is the Eigen value of A.
