Creating Tasks, Appointments, and Messages from Notes

You can convert a note to another Outlook item, such as a task, an appointment, or a new e-mail message. For instance, suppose you create a note to remind yourself to review a report. The day goes on, you become too busy to review the report, and you decide to convert the note to a task so that it appears in your to-do list for the following day. To convert a note to a new task, appointment, or e-mail message, you drag the note to the Tasks, Calendar, or Mail button on the Navigation pane.
