Starting Safari

Safari () is a Web browser that you use to search the World Wide Web. You can start the Safari application using the Safari button in the Dock or the Safari icon in the Applications folder. After you start Safari, you might need to enter a user name and password when you use a dial-up modem to establish a connection to the Internet. After you establish a connection to the Internet, you are ready to explore Web pages on the Internet.

Start the Safari Application

Display the Dock on the desktop, and then click the Safari icon.
