Downloading Files from the Web

There are thousands of sites on the Internet offering all sorts of files you can download to your computer, from trailers to the latest game demos. You can download files () from any Web site by finding the file you want, and then clicking the download link. Safari automatically downloads the file to the location specified in the General pane of Safari preferences. During the downloading process, the Downloads window appears, displaying progress and status information. You can stop downloading a file, view a downloaded file in the Finder, and clear the Downloads window when it gets to full.
