Using the Printer Setup Utility

Setting up a printer use to be a difficult and time-consuming process. There were all kinds of questions to answer, driver files to find, and after all that time, you might still have problems. With the Panther operating system, setting up a printer is easy. Adding a printer can be as simple as plugging the printer in, running the Printer Setup Utility, and clicking the Add button. The Info button on the Printer Setup Utility not only gives you the name of the selected printer, but also the ability to change the name.
