Like with every operating system, there are things you want to do, but just can't with the current version. That's where third-party programs and utilities come in to do the job. TinkerTool provides access to several secret Mac OS X Panther features that were either not made available to the average user or available only for development purposes. TinkerTool is a free utility that allows you to add a drop shadow to your Dock, change the minimize effect, control placement of scroll bars, and substitute fonts throughout the sys-tem (dialogs, title bars, menu bars, and help balloons, etc.) to name a few.
