The Seven Cs process

This chapter offers a simple overview of the framework. It considers each of the seven stages, the timing associated with each stage and sequencing issues. The aim is to suggest that all effective assignments must go through the seven stages and that failure to include any of them will result in limited success for the client, consumer or consultant. Although the vast majority of the book is offered in a non-prescriptive way, this chapter assumes that the seven stages are timeless and universal. Any effective change, be it starting a diet, moving house or managing a global merger, will follow the seven stages.
