Cascading Style Sheets
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a language for formatting documents written in a markup language such as HTML. CSS allows for the separation of document content and presentation and is currently at version 3. Unlike previous versions which are one large single documents, CSS 3 consists of several modules.
This appendix is a brief tutorial of CSS and explains how you can use CSS to format HTML documents.
The study of CSS normally touches on two major things:
1. Getting familiar with CSS properties, such as color, background, border, and so on. There are many of them and this appendix explains the more popular ones.
