5.3. SUMMARY

Before you invest time and money into SOA, you must establish the validity of the architecture in the context of your organization. A business case is a good starting point. Every benefit you expect to see from SOA must be critically reviewed. Once the business case finds justification to go with SOA, you need to get down to more details and find out what specific technology and tool will work for your business. This two-step validation process will minimize any nasty surprises later in the life of an SOA project.
