If you are new to BPM, this chapter should have given you a gentle introduction to the discipline. More important, the purpose of this chapter is to show the relationship between BPM and SOA. We went through the full life cycle of BPM, from modeling to process reengineering, and saw how the BPM and SOA principles working together create new value for the business.
