Data architecture analysis

Data architecture analysis considers the structural needs of the solution and the contextual needs of existing architecture and systems in order to derive a strategy for a successful data implementation. Following this strategy, a logical view of the data architecture, expressed in terms and concepts familiar to the user community, is derived. The derivation of the logical view may be constrained by the chosen strategy, in particular by having to conform to existing, more global, data architectures.
